Mr. Wilde has over 25 years experience in the security profession, including owning and operating his own residential and small business security business and acting as a security consultant for several businesses.
Mr. Gary Wilde, CPP (Certified Protection Professional) is board-certified by ASIS International in security management.
Mr. Wilde was a founding member (Treasurer) of the Southwestern Ontario chapter of ASIS and was previously a member of the Calgary chapter. Mr. Wilde is also a member of BOMA (Calgary chapter) and the IFE, Institution of Fire Engineers.
Mr. Wilde was with Burns Security Services Limited since 1997 when Securitas Canada purchased Burns in 2001. He has held positions of Business Development Manager, Branch Manager, District Manager and Area Vice President of first the Southwestern Ontario Region then the Western Canada Region and now once again Central Southern Ontario.
While manager of SW Ontario, Mr. Wilde directed his team to be the first area with Securitas Canada to be ISO certified.
Mr. Wilde attended Fanshawe College in London, Ontario and has taken extensive courses over the years in security, accounting, sales, marketing and management to name a few. Currently he is close to completing all the requirements of attaining Alberta’s COR (Certificate of Recognition) in Health & Safety.
