Mr. Jean Ruel our Québec, Area Vice President has over 20 years of experience in the Security and Investigation industry. Customer service has always been a strong point in Mr. Ruel’s career.
During the early 1990’s Mr. Ruel started working as a security manager full time while acting as a security consultant for several companies and organizers of large special events.
It was in 1996 that Mr. Ruel joined Pinkerton as Security Director for the prestigious Ritz Carlton Hotel account. In 1998 Mr. Ruel was promoted to Regional Assistant Manager for Pinkerton’s, a position that he held until the acquisition by Securitas in 2001.
From Regional Assistant Manager, Mr. Ruel was promoted to Montréal Branch Manager and went on to replace Mr. Robert Pretto (now Country President) as Québec Area Vice President in 2004. Quebec is the largest area of Securitas Canada with over 2,000 employees.
Mr. Ruel is a member of ASIS International, Association Québécoise des Intervenants en Sécurité and the American Hotel and Lodging Association. He holds a certification in Sales and Marketing from Université de Laval and is highly active in the local community.
