Mr. Naran has over 13 years of experience in information technology.
As senior manager of information technology for Securitas Canada for the past 2 years, Salim Naran sets the information technology direction for the company and is responsible for its daily IT operations.
Before joining the Securitas team, he was the Manager of Information Technology at Synergy Asset Management, one of only three Canadian mutual fund companies to reach 1 billion dollars under management in less than three years. Prior to that, he held several information technology positions at other financial corporations and in the manufacturing industry.
Mr. Naran holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Queen’s University in Computer Science and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Mathematics, as well as numerous technical certifications from major hardware, database, telecommunications and software vendors.
