Manfred Buhl, born in 1952, in Forst/Brandenburg, has been an executive in the security industry since 1991. He studied at the Frunse Military Academy in Moscow and, at the beginning of the 1990s, he left the Federal Armed Forces to join the management of the DSW Security in Potsdam.
Since 2002, he has been acting as Chairman of the Management Board of Securitas Deutschland. He has been Vice-President of the Federal Association of German Security Companies (BDSW, Bundesverband der Sicherheitswirtschaft) for years, and he represents German interests in the Confederation of European Security Services CoESS. Moreover, Buhl is a Board Member of the Swedish Chamber of Commerce in the Federal Republic of Germany.
