Culture/Science

Education, culture and science do not only represent great sentimental goods, but – especially in times of a globalized economy – also prime location factors. Museums, galleries, art collections, lecture halls and laboratories often house irreplaceable values, the protection of which is a highly sensitive subject.

For the presentation, security and maintenance of valuable cultural assets in universities and museums, SECURITAS has developed precisely tailored and cost-effective concepts. These concepts range from security services and other services, which are supplemented by ultra-modern technology, to the provision of the necessary investment funds. Look at the following examples and judge for yourself:

GRASSI Museum

The renowned GRASSI Museum for Applied Arts in Leipzig and its more than 90,000 exhibits are protected by SECURITAS experts. The Security Package ‘bundled’ for GRASSI by SECURITAS, includes surveillance, cash-point and special services as well as alarm connection.

HTW Berlin

The renowned Hochschule für Technik und Wirtschaft (HTW, College for Technology and Economics) in Berlin, with its 10,000 students, totally relies on SECURITAS for safety. Twenty-four hours a day, the Alert Services division protects the five college sites spread over the city area.

University of Stuttgart

When SECURITAS became the security partner for the University of Stuttgart, the company optimized the quality and costs of the existing security concept in a 4-point-program. Amongst other things, SECURITAS expanded the personnel services involving the use of protection dogs into a cost-saving Integrated Security Solution (ISL, Intergierte Sicherheitslösung) by installing modern surveillance technology.
