Decentralization
Decentralization of decisions and responsibility is fundamental for Securitas. The decentralized Management Model focuses on the almost 2,000 branch offices where the company’s daily operations are carried out.
The company’s customer offering improves when decisions are made in close proximity to customers and the employees who perform the services. Using the same reasoning, we think that local initiative is a more suitable way to assume corporate responsibility.
Centrally
Centrally, we follow a Code of Conduct, which serves to uphold and promote high ethical business standards. There are also other more detailed supporting documents, such as an environmental policy that determines, for example, what vehicles Securitas should use to reduce its CO2 emissions. Central activities are launched only when we really benefit from a coordinated effort (see Priorities). We are highly selective when it comes to these initiatives.
Locally
Local initiatives are encouraged, both small and more ambitious. Such activities range from recycling paper in offices to opening our offices during the weekend to support families in need.
