Employee Rights
We work to secure the basic rights of employees and act responsibly if and when incidents occur.
Securitas will not use forced, involuntary or underage labor and will respect the right of all employees to form and join trade unions. Securitas is also an equal-opportunity employer and does not tolerate bullying or harassment.
Securing the Basic Rights of Employees
Basic rights are controlled by laws and regulations in many regions where we operate, but not all. Therefore, it is important that we make sure we are working to secure these basic rights, and act responsibly if and when incidents occur. Should an incident occur, it is reported to the country president or, in the USA, to the regional president – anonymously if so desired. The country president brings it to the attention of the CEO and Group Management. Incidents can also be reported directly at corporate level.
Securitas believes in building relationships based on mutual respect and the dignity of all employees, by far our most important resource. Today, 94 percent of employees (in the countries where employee surveys are carried out) say that they do not experience discrimination.
