Almost all purchasing is performed and decided locally in accordance with our decentralized management model.

In general, we do not purchase enough goods to justify large-scale control of our downstream impact, but there certain purchasing categories deserve special attention. For example, Group Management is looking into purchasing security uniforms centrally to further facilitate the company’s control of the environmental and social affects that occur when producing the uniforms.
