Why did you apply for the Melker Schörling Scholarship?

I have always wanted to see Securitas operations in Europe. The scholarship provided a perfect opportunity to observe what security is like over there. Meeting with the CEO, country managers and supervisors provided a tremendous amount of insight into our company’s culture, goals, vision and worldwide operations.

Has this experience changed you or your job situation in any way?

I brought the official Securitas Tool Box back to my home team and plenty of information about our counter-parts in Europe. With my first-hand experience, I was able to show my teammates just how prestigious our company is.

Would you recommend the scholarship to others, and if so, why?

If anyone is interested in broadening his or her horizons in the security profession, and would like to sharpen his or her skills in certain specialties, a study visit is a great opportunity.
