Why did you apply for the Melker Schörling Scholarship?
I initially applied because I seek new challenges. I also believe that the pharmaceutical/biotech industry in Denmark has good prospects. The US is many years ahead of Europe in terms of this and I wanted to study the systems and methods used there to get some ideas/ methods to bring back to Denmark.
Has this experience changed you or your work situation in any way?
I got a broad understanding of how the security departments are built up and it also inspired me and has affected my work mode in a positive way. I am sure that my knowledge will be put to use in the future.
Would you recommend the Scholarship to others, and if so, why?
Absolutely, this is a great opportunity to experience and learn about Securitas’ concepts. If you would like to develop your knowledge in some areas, the scholarship is one way of doing it, especially because there are so many opportunities. However, I wish the visit could have been longer than a week.
