As released in August 2006, Alf Göransson replaces Thomas Berglund as President and CEO for Securitas AB as of March 5, 2007. Prior to Securitas, Alf was President and CEO for NCC AB during the years 2001 to 2007.

Securitas and Saab have made an agreement for the development of the next generation of systems for more efficient management of guard services and improved guard safety. The system will contain communication and production control of guarding services. The focus is on automated information flows, navigation, positioning and making instructions for action accessible to guards using hand held computers in a secure way.

Securitas AB launches its new Group website www.securitas.com in order to reflect the new Group after the distribution and listing of Securitas Direct and Securitas Systems on the Stockholm Stock Exchange today. The new website replaces the Group’s former website www.securitasgroup.com.

At the Extraordinary General Meeting in Securitas AB (publ) on September 25 it was resolved, in accordance with the Board of Directors' proposal, on a dividend to the effect that all shares in the wholly-owned subsidiaries Securitas Direct Aktiebolag ("Direct") and Securitas Systems AB ("Systems") will be distributed to the shareholders.
