Securitas Receives Risk Management Award

Securitas has been honored by the highly regarded international magazine StrategicRISK as the company in Europe that is best at risk management. Each year, the magazine confers a number of awards on the leading companies in risk management. This year Securitas received the award European Risk Management Team of the Year.

Among the criteria assessed were the company’s internal organization for risk management, a successful example of a risk management area that has been in focus during the year and how the strategies for risk management have been implemented throughout the company,  

Raising Internal Awareness of Risk Management

The jury’s grounds for the award were as follows: “This team works for an organization that deals with many specific risks, both at customer sites and within the organization itself. The team has adopted a positive approach and developed internal tools for risk management, and has also succeeded in raising risk management awareness throughout the company.”

Prestigious award

The award was received on May 7 in Berlin by Kenneth Miger, Risk & Insurance Manager for the Securitas Group, and Hans-Willi Hetzler, country Risk Manager for Securitas operations in Germany.

“I’m very proud that Securitas received such a prestigious award,” says Kenneth Miger. “We at Securitas not only work with managing our own risks, but also indirectly with those of our customers. This work has many dimensions and requires a professional organization. This award is recognition of all the company’s skilled risk managers.
