Security Officer - Leading Investment Bank

Our client is a leading global investment bank seeking potential candidates to join their security operation. An excellent career opportunity will be offer to the right candidates.   

 

Role:

  • Perform the required duties outlined in the Firm’s emergency response procedures 
  • Monitor building and security systems including CCTV and Access Control systems
  • Conduct systems checks of security equipment and monitoring systems
  • Identify and escalate any risks related to security operations      
  • Demonstrate leadership during an incident/crisis
  • Draft incident reports
  • Conduct contractor site safety/security inductions
  • Maintain vendor/contractor access management registers
  • Provide security escort to clients and contractors 
  • Participate in training and drilling and demonstrate consistently high scores
  • Provide a professional standard of customer service to a corporate client
  • Provide general support to security department and undertake other duties assigned by his / her supervisor

 

Skills:

  • Communicate in English (preferable) 
  • Use MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Capable of developing a client/stakeholder relationships
  • Active listening skills
  • Ability to work in a diverse and fast paced environment
  • Strong organization and  time management
  • Have an understanding of the use of fire life safety equipment 
  • Proficient in basic first aid

 

Requirements:

  • Holder of valid Security Personnel Permit & QAS Certificate
  • Available for 9 hour shifts per day, 6 days per week
  • Hold a valid first aid and AED certificate
  • Candidates with more working experience will be considered as Senior Security Officer
