Companies often ask: Can you help us in apply for the Customs-Trade Partnership Against Terrorism (C-TPAT) program?

Yes we can.  Pinkerton has collaborated and helped a number of companies apply for, and then maintain, successful C-TPAT program participation.  So far we have had a 100 percent success rate with companies we have assisted and Pinkerton has been affiliated with the program since its inception.

But Pinkerton’s ability to assist does not end there.  Pinkerton can also help companies move from Tier 1 to Tier 2 or even Tier 3 status by assisting in developing a thorough and comprehensive supply chain security approach that follows U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) criteria for the C-TPAT program.  This includes managing your required business partner assessments using the web-based Business Partner Management Tool.  These assessments, in turn, are analyzed and used in a proprietary risk assessment methodology to calculate the risk and prioritize business partners for on-site assessments and follow-up corrective actions, where needed.

Pinkerton can also deliver required C-TPAT security training programs using on-site training or a Learning Management System web-based program that takes care of all the documentation and tracking you need.

Pinkerton’s supply chain security expertise is not limited to the C-TPAT program.  It also includes ISO 28000 and Authorized Economic Operator supply chain security programs, security risk assessments (threat assessments, vulnerability assessments and business impact assessments) and supply chain loss investigations and crime prevention tools and techniques.

Finally, these capabilities are global and are available in multiple nations around the world using internally certified Pinkerton supply chain consultants/investigators.
