Security Services at Poole Harbour

Poole Harbour Commissioners requirements for a professional security service have always been built around its own underlying principles of being able to provide a professional service for its customers and members of the travelling public.

As a busy port we see in excess of half a million people transiting through Poole Harbour on their way to the continent and Channel Islands.

We believe that Securitas shares these principles and were pleased to award them the contract for our site here in Poole in June 2006.

These principles have delivered:

  • A visible uniformed deterrence giving reassurance for those members of the public travelling through the port.
  • Prevention and detection of crime.

To date, Securitas have delivered a quality service, supplying high calibre, well trained officers who have performed well in what have at times been challenging circumstances.

The Securitas management structure of a dedicated Branch Manager along with all KPI's currently exceeding target.
