Securitas are first to extend their ACS approval to include Northern Ireland
Securitas have become the first private security company to gain an extension to scope in their ACS status to include Northern Ireland.
The status was granted under the Private Security Industry Act 2001 which is due to come into force in Northern Ireland from the end of 2009
The Approved Contractor Scheme is the formal recognition of the Security Industry Authority only given to those companies that can actively demonstrate Best Practice and Continuity of Quality.
Securitas, who also hold the ACS status in England, Scotland and Wales, are delighted to be the first to bring this Quality Accreditation to Northern Ireland.
Securitas who currently employ 120 staff across Northern Ireland are looking to build further on this success and appreciate the recognition that ACS status will bring
MD Geoff Zeidler commented:
“We are very pleased with the award of ACS status which demonstrates Securitas’ commitment to the Northern Ireland region and is a testament to the quality of its services”
