Energy Services Division
The Securitas Energy division provides specialized protective services for owners and operators of nuclear power and energy facilities. Since 1967, Securitas has successfully provided security, fire protection and augmentation services personnel and the necessary administrative, managerial, operational and logistical support to the Energy industry in the United States.
Securitas' Energy Services operations provide for top to bottom management, training and operations of tactically oriented, armed and unarmed security forces, and specialized consulting services. Securitas is responsible for all facets of managing and operating security forces at nuclear energy facilities including recruiting, hiring, training, labor relations, fitness for duty and weapons qualifications.
Securitas Security Officers are responsible for providing, maintaining and performing all necessary security functions in accordance with the Energy Services Security Program. This includes protecting energy facilities against sabotage of equipment and theft of materials, controlling site access, determining the extent of the threatening situations, assessing the extent of such threats, summoning reinforcements and exerting force to prevent or delay malicious acts.
Our mission is to protect owners, operators and managers of nuclear materials and other sensitive assets, with tactically trained and armed security officers of the highest quality. The nature of Energy Service contracts with nuclear and energy customers mandates close adherence to stringent federal requirements. To ensure that Securitas maintains the highest level of client service, we use written performance standards and practices that are objectively tested and measured.
