A career in HR brings with it multiple opportunities for variety and career progression within our branch, area, regional and service center locations. At Securitas, our HR professionals not only recruit and select the best people for our workforce, but assist in the development of the employees and play a part in influencing strategic business decisions.

Here are a few examples of jobs from across the HR spectrum:

Human Resources Specialist – an entry-level position acting as the first point of contact for all HR queries and the handling of personnel-related paperwork and documentation.

Recruiter – a support role in the sourcing, recruiting and hiring of qualified employees; assists with advertisement of job openings; reviews applications; and coordinates job interviews.

Human Resources Manager – a strategic role involving a range of policies, processes and practices relating to the overall “people” business needs of the company; is involved with overseeing others in the HR team and their delivery of their responsibilities in addition to managing employee relations issues.

Working well with people is one motivation of seeking a career in HR at Securitas.  However, successful HR professionals must genuinely care about the well-being and development of our employees, which results in close working relationships with people at all levels of business.
