We are happy to promote one of our talented leaders into Group Management as one member leaves. All other Group Management members continue in their current roles.

Axel Sundén, Area Manager Northern Sweden and with Securitas since 2012, will take over the role of Divisional President AMEA and becomes a member of Group Management effective September 1, 2022.

- I am glad to announce that Axel Sundén will take on the role of Divisional President for AMEA. Axel has a strong background, both from finance roles at Group, leading the development and growth with global partners as part of the Global Clients team and most recently leading Sweden - North. I am confident that he will successfully lead the Division and continue to drive the AMEA strategy, says Magnus Ahlqvist, President and CEO.

Brett Pickens, who has been with Securitas since 2018 and as Divisional President AMEA since 2021, has decided to leave Securitas for personal reasons. Brett remains in his role until August 31, 2022, and the handover process to Axel will start immediately as well as the recruitment of Axel’s successor in Sweden.

- I regret to inform that Brett has resigned from Securitas due to personal reasons, and he will move back to Australia. Brett has been instrumental in his current role as Divisional President of AMEA and his previous role as COO of AMEA, building a strong team in operations in the Middle East and Asia. Brett has been a highly appreciated leader and colleague, both in the AMEA region and globally, and we are sorry he is leaving. In Securitas, Brett has shown strong people and strategic leadership and delivered impressive business results.
