Securitas acquires monitoring company in Denmark

Dansikring, Securitas subsidiary in Denmark, has acquired the monitoring company Dan Kontrol Systemer in Denmark. Enterprise value is estimated to MSEK 25 (MDKK 19).

Dan Kontrol, with 25 employees, is the largest independent monitoring company in Denmark. The company has a high quality customer contract portfolio. The acquisition strengthens Dansikring´s position in Denmark and enables an expansion of the operations in the monitoring market in Denmark, in line with the Group’s strategy of increasing growth in the business segment Mobile and Monitoring. The acquisition is consolidated in Securitas AB as of April 1, 2010.
