    Interview with Amythest

Why did you apply for the scholarship?

I applied for the scholarship because I was interested in seeing how our company operates across different environments, cultures and healthcare systems, as well as how it adapts to varying laws and regulatory requirements.

What did you learn/gain from the study visit?

I gained valuable insight into how security services are delivered in Germany and how different legal, cultural and operational environments shape the profession. The differences were eye-opening and broadened my perspective on how the same company can successfully operate across different markets.

I was particularly impressed by Germany's use of AI technology for training demonstrations and by the different qualifications and requirements for working in the security field. Seeing these approaches firsthand gave me new ideas and perspectives that could potentially be adapted to my own work environment.

Overall, the experience allowed me to step outside of my own role, learn from colleagues in another country and gain a deeper understanding of the different ways security services can be delivered while maintaining a commitment to quality and professionalism.

How will you share this knowledge/experience with your organization?

I plan to share my experience by speaking with colleagues about the trip, how I applied for the scholarship and what I learned throughout the program. My goal is to encourage others within our organization to pursue similar professional development opportunities and broaden their perspectives.

I also intend to apply what I learned to our training programs by exploring different teaching methods and finding new ways to enhance engagement and learning. In addition, I hope to continue conversations about the future role of AI in training and development and how new technologies can support learning.

Finally, I plan to strengthen the professional development of our security teams by encouraging continuous learning, additional certifications and high training standards, while adapting these ideas to our local environment and needs.
