Securitas acquires alarm systems company in Switzerland

Securitas’ subsidiary in Switzerland, Protectas SA, has acquired the alarm systems company SH Safe Home SA. Enterprise value is estimated to MSEK 36 (MCHF 6.2).

Safe Home operates in the business area of installations of alarm systems for private households, and has annual sales of approximately MSEK 16 (MCHF 2.7).

Protectas and Safe Home have co-operated for more than ten years. The majority of the Safe Home alarms are connected with the Protectas alarm receiving center and Protectas delivers also the call out service for these customers.

The acquisition is consolidated in Securitas AB as of September 1, 2008.
