How does application work?
Applications opened on September 16. Applicants should submit their written application to their immediate manager before October 16, 2026.

Submit application
Applicants must submit their written application to their immediate manager before the deadline. The application is then immediately passed on to the Country HR, together with letter of recommendation(s). The Country HR will forward applications to Divisional HR/Cluster HR as soon as possible.

Selecting scholar nominees
Divisional HR/Cluster HR, together with Divisional President/Cluster President, will select 1–3 candidates for the Melker Schörling Scholarship and forward to the CEO/CFO office.

Selecting and announcing the winners
The Board of Directors of Securitas AB makes the final decision of who will be the selected candidates for the scholarship at the Board of Directors meeting in December. The candidates will be informed at the latest before year-end if they are accepted or not.

About
History and purpose of the scholarship
The scholarship was established in 1992, the Melker Schörling Scholarship was created when Melker Schörling left his position as President and CEO to become Chairman of the Board. The purpose of the scholarship is to offer international training opportunities within a specific area/topic in a country where Securitas operates.
