To the right, please find answers to some common questions that we get in relation to our digital services.

Our approach is that the Securitas Digital Services should be possible to use for our clients without any legal additional terms. We seek transparency and simplicity. This is the reason that quite few of our digital services have any additional legal terms at all and it is as much in our interest as in our clients' to keep them to a minimum. However, there are a few exceptions to this approach which you will find in our Specific Service Terms. This might e.g. be because the digital service is significantly different from our traditional security solutions, for compliance reasons or because it is a partner product.

We aim to change the Specific Service Terms as rarely as possible and maintaining stability. Typically, modifications occur when we introduce new digital services or significant features that enhance your experience. If you would like, you can sign up to updates via our RSS feed.

The personal data we process as data controller are detailed in our Privacy Notice. The main purpose is to provide you with a secure and well-functioning service and share updates with you. If you opt-in, there are additional purposes for which we might use your personal data. If your account is not used for 12 months, we will remove it.

For most of our digital services, personal data processed by Securitas as data processor are only processed by companies within the Securitas Group and by Microsoft as our digital services are hosted on Microsoft infrastructure in Ireland and the Netherlands. Please find all details in our Details of processing and list of sub-processors.

The standalone fallback terms provide essential legal coverage for organizations that may be using our digital services without an existing agreement, or those whose current agreements lack data processing provisions. The standalone fallback terms bridge this gap. In the event a company using our digital services does not have an agreement or just not a data processing agreement and a a data processing agreement is mandated by applicable regulations, these terms apply. If your company already has an agreement with a data processing agreement incorporated, these documents are not relevant to you.
